The Contributor
We approached The Contributor street paper the same way their vendors approach automobiles. With respect and dignity. We simply asked if we could help. They accepted. And it led to one of the most successful, and satisfying, advertising campaigns ever created in Nashville. Because we agreed to only use real vendors in the ads. We agreed to tell only their true stories. And then we took it all to the streets. The New York Times noticed. So did the Jay Chiat Awards. But, more importantly, it worked. It helped the homeless find shelter.
